Honey B Beauty Studio Cancellation and Booking Policy


These terms protect client time, stylist time, and the studio’s ability to operate fairly and sustainably. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

  1. Deposit and Card on File
    A nonrefundable deposit is required to secure every appointment and is applied to the service total on the day of service. A valid card on file is required for all bookings. By booking, you authorize Honey B Beauty Studio to charge your card for applicable deposits, late cancellation fees, no-show fees, and outstanding balances according to this policy.

  2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Windows
    Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment start time to avoid fees. Changes made 24 to 48 hours before the appointment incur a fee of 50 percent of the scheduled service total. Changes made within 24 hours or any no-show incur a fee of 100 percent of the scheduled service total. Fees are charged to the card on file. Deposits are forfeited when the change is made with less than 48 hours’ notice or for no-shows.

  3. Late Arrival
    There is a 10 minute courtesy window. At 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened to the remaining time or rescheduled at the studio’s discretion. Shortened services due to late arrival are charged at the full scheduled rate. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late that cannot be accommodated are treated as a late cancellation and charged according to Section 2.

  4. Confirmation Requirement
    Appointment confirmations are sent by text or email. Unconfirmed appointments may be released to waitlisted clients 24 hours prior at the studio’s discretion. Rebooking after a released slot may require a new deposit.

  5. No-Show Policy
    Missing an appointment without notice is a no-show and incurs a fee of 100 percent of the scheduled service. After two no-shows, all future bookings require full prepayment and may be declined at the studio’s discretion.

  6. Group, Multi-Service, and New-Set Bookings
    For services exceeding two hours or for multi-guest bookings, a higher deposit or partial prepayment may be required. Group reservations follow the strictest applicable window in Section 2. If any guest cancels late or no-shows, the corresponding fee applies to that guest’s card on file.

  7. Color, Blonding, and Extension Services
    Large appointments reserved for color corrections, blonding, or extension installs and move-ups are time-intensive. If canceled 24 to 48 hours prior, the fee is 50 percent of the reserved block. Within 24 hours or for no-shows, the fee is 100 percent of the reserved block. For extension services, hair that has been ordered is final sale and must be paid in full before rescheduling if the appointment is canceled late. Hair cannot be released until paid in full.

  8. Illness, Emergencies, and Weather
    If you are ill with a contagious condition, contact the studio as soon as symptoms arise. One illness-related waiver of fees may be granted per client per calendar year with same-day notice and supporting documentation if requested. True emergencies are evaluated case by case and may require documentation. Studio-initiated cancellations due to unsafe weather or building issues will be rescheduled without penalty and deposits will transfer to the new date.

  9. Communication Method and Time Stamp
    All changes must be requested by text or email to the studio number or address listed in your confirmation. The time stamp of the received message determines fee eligibility. Social media messages are not monitored for scheduling changes.

  10. Payment of Fees and Outstanding Balances
    All cancellation or no-show fees must be paid before any new appointment is scheduled. Unpaid balances after seven days may result in automatic charging of the card on file and suspension of booking privileges.

  11. Chargebacks and Disputes
    Initiating a chargeback for a valid fee under this policy may result in suspension of booking privileges. If a chargeback is filed and the studio prevails, an administrative recovery fee may be added to the account. The studio will provide booking logs and communication records to the processor as evidence.

  12. Service Suitability and Consultations
    For major color changes and extensions, a consultation may be required. If suitability concerns arise at the consultation or appointment, the studio may refuse service and recommend alternatives. Deposits for refused services based on disclosed contraindications are refundable. Deposits are not refundable if critical intake information was withheld or misrepresented.

  13. Children, Additional Guests, and Pets
    Only clients receiving services may be seated in the service area unless previously approved. This protects timing, safety, and sanitation. Service animals trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability are welcome.

  14. Pricing, Policies, and Timing Estimates
    Service menus and timing estimates help with planning but are not guarantees. Pricing and policies may change without notice. The policy in effect at the time of booking applies to that appointment.

  15. Rebooking and Deposit Transfer
    If you reschedule within the allowed 48 hour window, your original deposit transfers once. A second reschedule of the same appointment requires a new deposit.

  16. Product Returns and Service Redo Window
    Hair and custom-ordered products are final sale. If you are dissatisfied with a service, contact the studio within seven days so we can assess and, if appropriate, make adjustments. Redo appointments do not cover changes of mind and must align with the original agreed upon plan and aftercare. Proper at-home care is required for any guarantee.

  17. Photos, Media, and Education
    You may be asked to consent to photos or videos taken during your service for education or marketing. Consent is optional. Decline at check-in if you prefer not to be photographed.

  18. Consent and Acceptance
    Booking any appointment or placing a deposit constitutes your understanding of and agreement to these terms, including the authorization to charge the card on file for fees described above.
